August 6th, 2022: Precious Memories

I came across this photo today going through old archives on my laptop from when my husband and I lived on Bow Lake, NH. I find myself often becoming quite attached to the photos I take, simply because of all of the precious little memories within them. During our time here, almost every morning Hazel & I would go down to the water and watch the sun rise, listening to all of the birds wake up. These summer mornings were always so peaceful, and more often than not I found myself snapping photos of Hazel just gazing out at the lake (one of her most favorite places to be) While I don’t quite remember myself doing so, I’m so thankful that I did. Being a photographer, I feel so grateful for all of the memories, big and small, that I’ve been able to capture not just for myself but for others as well! Looking back on even the most quiet and simple mornings bring me so much joy, just as this one did. I love my little lake watching partner.
